Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) Protection Standards
CatHerd is built to foster safe, real-world community experiences for friends and families. We maintain an absolute zero-tolerance policy regarding the upload, distribution, or facilitation of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE).
Our Commitment to Safety:
Zero Tolerance Enforcement: Any user who attempts to transmit, store, or solicit materials related to the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors will have their account permanently terminated immediately, and their data will be preserved for law enforcement review.
Proactive Monitoring and Reporting: CatHerd utilizes automated hashing systems and metadata filters alongside human review to flag suspicious content within our systems. In strict compliance with federal and international laws, any confirmed instance of CSAM/CSAE will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
In-App Reporting Tools: CatHerd provides clear, accessible features within every chat thread and group view allowing users to instantly report behavior or media that violates these standards. Reports are routed to our 24/7 moderation queue for immediate action.
No Safe Haven: We do not allow end-to-end masking of data in a manner that prevents us from complying with our legal duties to remove illegal materials involving minors from our platform.
If you suspect a minor is in immediate danger or that exploitation material is being shared within a group, please use our in-app reporting feature or contact our trust and safety department immediately at dangnation (at) gmail.com.
